Tired of the fiddly little rubber plug that garmin supplied with the Zumo XT/2 mount? It doesn't fit well, is not easy to get it to stay in place and is always falling out and slipping down the power cord and went missing on one of my bikes.
Here is a simple, elegant, durable and handsome solution. This cover weighs 19 grams (.7 oz) and is made from billet aluminum, anodized black and laser etched with a topographical map design in our shop in Upstate NY.
They snap securely and positively into place and release with the plunger, just like the GPS. If you have one of our Garmin Zumo XT Locks or Locking Mounts installed, the cover locks securely to the bike, just like the GPS.
They keep moisture and dust out of the connectors on the mount and look great while doing so!
For installation on the Garmin Zumo XT2 mount, remove the installed foam tape. Leave in place for use on the Zumo XT mount.
