TechMoto Zumo XT/XT2 Quad Lock Adapter

TechMoto has designed an adapter for your Quad Lock to fit on your Zumo XT charging cradle when not using your GPS. Our rationale for this adapter was twofold.

• SAFETY – When on a ride, we encourage riders to only use their standalone GPS and keep their phone in their pocket or within reach in case the rider gets launched from their bike and becomes immobile.

• CLUTTER – When ADV riding is done for the day, many find three screens (including TFT) is overkill and using Waze or Google Maps is preferred for real time traffic. Moving the phone from the handlebars to the GPS mount is also ergonomic and safer as the display remains in your line of sight.

Simply fasten the 360 Quadlock Lever to the TechMoto adapter then mount the TechMoto adapter to the Zumo XT cradle.

We supply a stainless steel nylock nut to securely fasten the M5 screw (supplied by Quad Lock) to our adapter.

Step 1
Fasten the Quad Lock 360 Lever to the TechMoto adapter, in your preferred orientation, using the M5 screw provided by Quad Lock

Step 2
Mount the assembled parts to Zumo XT cradle as you would your GPS, and then mount your phone to the Quad Lock 360 Lever as you normally would.

We use Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PET-G) Filament:

known for durability and strength
resistant to high temperatures, UV rays, water, chemical solvents, and more
ideal filament that will exist in harsh environments or have to undergo a lot of physical stress
