The Adventure Moto/Outback Motortek X-Frames for the KTM 1050 / 1090 / 1190 / 1290 Adventure R / S are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.

We also offer standard pannier racks. The difference between our standard pannier racks and the X-Frames is that the standard frames don’t feature RotoPax mounts and tabs welded on all four corners.

The new X-Frames are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.
Matte black powder coated mild steel frames with an alloy X-bracket with multiple Rotopax mounting positions for custom weight distribution, as well as multiple tie-down points. You can even remove the X-Bracket from your frames when running Hard Luggage to reduce the frame weight.

Rigid, strong, well finished

I bought the Outback Motortek Pannier racks for my 2020 KTM 1290 SA S and I'm very impressed with the quality and fit. They are a bargain compared with the similar design Givi Lock-it racks I fitted to my 2014 1190.

The edge framing looks as if it may take a leg off but offers greater versatility to use soft bags (I found the racks from the Kriega website) when fitted with the Rotopax mounts - also a bonus and improvement over the Givi design.

They lose a star because the instruction leaflet is all mixed up with reversed pics and some odd reference to the Africa Twin 1000, and because they are a symmetrical design, which I cannot abide, and it is difficult to see this on the pics on the website but I did suspect this to be the case. I will be taking a grinder and welder to them and I will raise them up just a little and tilt them forward, too

Overall and excellent product but the website needs detail photos from both sides and the instructions need a reboot
